Despite the fact that I e-mailed them on Oct 5 and asked them to stop putting my blog posts on their forums, The Weigh We Were is still doing so. That's just plain scummy behavior. Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

wholesale copying of other people's work does not constitute "fair use" under copyright. Remind them of that.
I don't know. Would it help if we all went there and commented "The author asked you to remove her posts from your website and you HAVEN'T and you are scumbags"? Or would that just give them unwanted attention? Let us know what you want us to do - maybe a letter-writing campaign - we could get a pretty big response going.

That's a strange little website. I imagine people's blogs are sucked in automatically somehow, I don't think a person is going around copying and pasting the content. Maybe you could put a big "THEWEIGHWEWERE.COM HAS ILLEGALLY COPIED THIS BLOG CONTENT WITHOUT PERMISSION" somewhere in every post. Maybe that would motivate them to remove you!
So *that's* where those hits in my referal log have been coming from... I just assumed that someone had posted a link in one of the forums, but now I can see that they're posting entire S&P entries. I might not care if their site wasn't so chalk full of ads, not to mention the spyware/adware bomb I just had to scrape off my computer.
They're going to wish I was a polite Canadian...
